In 2001, Taren Grom co-founded PharmaVoice, a business-to-business trade publication, which covers the trends and opportunities facing the life sciences industry from molecule to market, and PharmaLinx LLC, a multimedia publishing company. For more than 20 years, Grom served as editor-in-chief, overseeing the annual PharmaVoice 100, the Woman of the Week podcast series, virtual panels and industry-related events. In September 2021, PharmaVoice was acquired by Industry Dive, and Grom now serves as editor-in-chief emeritus of the newly relaunched PharmaVoice, charged with overseeing special projects, virtual panels, the PharmaVoice 100 and WoW podcast. Grom has been a dedicated volunteer to the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association for more than a decade, serving on multiple committees, including those responsible for the Annual Conference, Woman of the Year event, the Gender Parity Collaborative and Executive Women’s Forum. Grom served on the organization’s corporate board of directors for nine years. She won the prestigious HBA President’s Award in 2013 and STAR volunteer award in 2019.
