Philadelphia, PA, February 2018—ThinkGen, a leading global pharmaceutical market research firm, today announced that it has added two well-known industry leaders to its board of advisors, and has added to its staff three experienced high-level executives.

Dr. Richard Vanderveer, a long-time thought leader in pharmaceutical marketing research and former CEO of GfK US Healthcare, has joined the ThinkGen advisory board as its Chief Innovation Officer. ThinkGen will acquire Vanderveer’s latest venture, rbV3, a company that helps startups and established companies to better navigate the healthcare marketplace.

In addition, Daniel Fitzgerald, another leader in the pharmaceutical marketing research field and former Executive Vice President of Operations and CFO at GfK US Healthcare, has joined ThinkGen’s board as Head of Operations.

Dr. Vanderveer said: “Over the 40 years of my professional career, I have had the opportunity to develop several companies that have been pioneers in healthcare marketing research. I am genuinely excited to have my boutique company, rbV3, acquired by ThinkGen. This acquisition, which includes my joining ThinkGen as Chief Innovation Officer, will permit me to apply my training as a Ph.D. Psychologist, and my experience as the CEO of a large pharmaceutical marketing research company, to turbo-charging the growth of this growing company that is already well established in the marketplace.”

ThinkGen recently also hired three highly experienced research executives. Ray Chan, PhD and Yoko Okamoto have both joined as Senior Vice Presidents. Each has 20 years industry experience from multi-national organizations, bringing a global perspective to the changing healthcare landscape. Ray said: “I am thrilled to join ThinkGen at a time of exciting and tremendous growth. I look forward to working with a group of leading biopharmaceutical thinkers and researchers to help ensure our clients’ success.”

Kathy O’Connell joins ThinkGen as Senior Vice President of Business Development, responsible for the growth and overall satisfaction of ThinkGen’s clients.

Noah Pines, President and founder of ThinkGen, said: “We are excited to be adding to our company experienced market research experts both in terms of company oversight, as well as innovative researchers. This is an important time for ThinkGen, especially because we are helping our clients bring to market innovative new therapies that will revolutionize healthcare.”
